Ministry is what it has been about his whole life. It all started when he was born into a pastor's family.
In those early years, his Dad pastored in a variety of places - from a farm community in Southern Illinois
to the coal mining towns in West Virginia and Pennsylvania to the fishing village of Cape May, New Jersey
and finally to the city of Wilmington, Delaware.
While in the military, during the Vietnam era, Jim sensed God's call on his life to full-time Ministry.
Graduating from Eastern Nazarene College in the Boston, Massachusetts area, he attended Seminary and
graduate school at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.

On January 1, 1970, he married the love of his life - DJ (Delma Jean), who also grew up in a pastor's home.
The goal of their lives together has been to minister to the spiritual needs of people.
During their college and seminary years, they traveled weekends in New England and the Midwest,
singing and preaching in churches. During Seminary, they were even able to travel farther faster
by flying their own airplane, made possible by the sales of our early gospel recordings.
Following Seminary, they traveled coast to coast in full-time evangelism, holding revivals... concerts... youth
and children's summer camps... youth revivals and children's crusades.
In 1978, they traded in the 50 week a year, living out of our suitcase, traveling across the US,
evangelistic ministry lifestyle for a brand new ministry as missionaries in Europe.
By then, Tiffany, the oldest of their three children, had arrived and they moved to Frankfurt,
West Germany and coordinated a Ministry to the US Military. Once again - lots of travel - they were busy
establishing new churches, Bible studies, developing marriage and family ministries, counseling and
planning servicemen's retreats (in Bertsechgarten).
During the missionary years in Germany, their second daughter, Bethany, was born.
Returning to the United States marked the beginning of the pastoral years. Shortly after returning to
the US, their son, Jeremy, was born.
In March 2003, four couples met in a home and Shenandoah Fellowship began. The church met in the
Hampton Inn until September 1, 2003 when the Lord opened up our current location at 934B Baker Lane, Winchester.
In recent months, the Lord has continued to bring together a marvelous group of people at Shenandoah Fellowship.
Drop in and worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. We would love to meet you!
